What is Trial by Error?
Trial by Error is a design service that believes the best way to teach proper user experience is by providing the worst case scenarios of one. Our services provide designers and businesses with the ability to see just how important it is for a design to work as intended and with the user in mind and how their overbearing push notifications affect the likelihood of users to use their products.
For the first output, I wanted to make a website that not only showed an example of poor design, but also educate designers on what goes into making a design function, and how the persistence of subscription services can drive customers/consumers away. Unfortunately for me, this meant that I had to make 4 separate websites combined into one to get those points across.
I started on Figma for the poor design but as I wanted this to live on its own after many years later (and also to expand on my coding skills) I decided to code all of it by hand. If I had to change anything about it, I'd add more questions to Site-Rite and show different website templates instead of just my own.
